Project research presented during the Berlin-based exhibition ‘How Soon Is Now’
Catastrophe Colours is a critical approach on how colours are chosen to be applied in architecture. Based mainly on poetic names given by the industry, colours are seen as a positive, almost useless addition. By associating them to human disaster, the selection of colour becomes a conscious act.
A hard copy of the book can be ordered at firstname.lastname@example.org for 85€. Delivery is 10€ inside the EU, and 16€ outside.
The Catastrophe Colours book is a nonprofit project.
Special thanks to Alanna Lawley for precious advises and Charlotte Collin for the graphic design.
